NASSAU, Bahamas (AP) — Bahamian authorities are investigating the deaths of two crew members on separate cruise ships that were in the islands' waters.

Police have disclosed few specifics, saying only that they are "actively investigating these incidents to determine the exact cause of death."

A statement from the Royal Bahamas Police Force says a male crew member was found dead early Sunday aboard a cruise ship anchored at Castaway Cay, a private island that serves as an exclusive port for Disney Cruise Line vessels.

Police say the lifeless body of a female crew member was found aboard another cruise line's vessel early Monday as it passed through Bahamian waters.

Neither ship was identified. Police spokeswoman Terecita Pinder did not immediately respond to calls or an email seeking comment Monday.
