MADRID (AP) — Spain's maritime rescue service says two fishermen have died, three are missing and seven have been rescued after a fishing vessel capsized off the northern Spanish coast.
The service says the Mar Nosso's upturned hull was clearly visible on the water 20 nautical miles (23 miles) off the fishing port of Navia on the Asturian coast, 340 miles (550 kilometers) north of Madrid.
The rescue service said three other fishing vessels, a tug boat and a helicopter rushed to the scene Thursday and were searching for the missing crew.
The agency said the accident was under investigation and it was not yet known what caused the capsizing.
