Spain's caretaker prime minister will face important parliamentary votes this week that will either endorse his Socialist Party to form a new government, or push the country closer to a possible fourth general election in five years and even more political instability.
Monday could bring one of Puerto Rico's biggest protests ever, as angry islanders try to drive Gov. Ricardo Rosselló from office. They're angry over an obscenity-laced leaked online chat the governor had with allies as well as federal corruption charges leveled against his administration. Hundreds of thousands of protesters are expected to take over one of the island's busiest highways in the capital of San Juan.
China on Monday harshly criticized a demonstration in which eggs were thrown at its office in Hong Kong, accusing the demonstrators of violence without mentioning a violent attack against protesters and civilians in the same night.
