64-year-old going for land speed record

Danny Thompson is trying to become the fastest driver of a piston-engine car — just like his dad, Mickey Thompson. His first attempt at breaking the land speed record will be this weekend, at the 100th annual "Speed Week" at the Bonneville Salt Flats in northwestern Utah.
