LAS VEGAS (AP) — One Las Vegas-area police officer has been arrested and accused of misdemeanor stalking and intimidation while another was arrested following a barricade situation.
The Henderson Police Department says 41-year-old Stephen Bryan was arrested Tuesday following an investigation into a report filed with the department. No details were released and it's unclear whom Bryan is accused of victimizing.
Separately, the Metropolitan Police Department said 39-year-old Nathan Herlean was arrested Monday night after officers responded to a report of a possible suicidal person and then believed they heard gunfire.
Herlean was jailed on suspicion of resisting a public officer with a firearm.
Both officers were placed on administrative leave and it wasn't immediately known whether either had an attorney who could comment on the allegations.
