COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) — Officials say the principal of Coeur d'Alene High School has died after he was found at home with a gunshot wound that appeared to be self-inflicted.
The Spokesman-Review reports the school district said Troy Schueller died Wednesday afternoon at Kootenai Health.
The high school canceled classes Thursday but crisis counselors will be available for students and staff.
Schueller had been an administrator for 10 years at the high school, the past two as principal.
