SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Police say two people have been hospitalized after accidently skiing into trees in separate incidents at Brighton Resort near Salt Lake City.
The Unified Police Department says a skier in her early 20s hit a tree Sunday, suffering head and hip injuries. KSL-TV reports that the woman's injuries are not life-threatening but police say she was airlifted to a hospital in serious condition.
Earlier in the day, a 35-year-old man hit a tree at the resort.
The Deseret News reports the man was flown to a hospital in critical condition.
Police did not release the identities of either skier.
