LEADORE, Idaho (AP) — Leadore High School has canceled its boys basketball season due to low participation.
The Post Register reports (http://bit.ly/2fT8k0B ) that head boys basketball coach Shane Matson said Thursday that only four of the five total boys who attend Leadore were able to play basketball this season.
Matson says he is confident they will have enough players for a basketball team next year.
This is the first time in 28 years that Leadore High School has had to cancel its basketball program. Last year's team featured seven players.
Leadore is an incorporated city in Lemhi County. The population was 105 at the 2010 census.
