SANDY, Utah (AP) — Elizabeth Smart and the families of three people who have gone missing from Utah at varying times and under different circumstances are asking the public for help.

The Deseret News (http://bit.ly/1Xj1J3t) reports Smart asked for tips and encouraged the three individuals to "keep surviving."

Smart was 14 when she was kidnapped in 2002 and held for nine months.

Those missing include an international student, a teenager and mother of five children.

Family says 26-year-old Elizabeth Laguna-Salgado of Mexico was studying in Provo before being last seen leaving class on April 16.

Macin Smith of St. George was last seen Sept. 1 when the 17-year-old left home without his cell phone, wallet, money or clothes.

Nicole Coletti Harris hasn't been seen since the 41-year-old left her Provo home on Oct. 24.
