CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — The University of Charleston is using an Arkansas military installation to expand its student recruiting efforts.
The university has entered into an agreement with the Lavern E. Weber Professional Education Center at Camp Robinson in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The agreement will expand education opportunities for National Guard members.
The university says it will have a location at the facility for classes and meetings with prospective and current students. Among the courses being offered are accounting, business administration, cyber security, organizational leadership and business administration.
The private university had an enrollment of about 2,100 students in fall 2014.
