(AP) - WHO'S COMING BACK: Almost 600 pilots furloughed by United Airlines in 2008 and 2009. These are the last of the airline's pilots who had been out of work.
WHY NOW? Airlines need more pilots now because more pilots are retiring, as well as because of new rules limiting how much each pilot flies.
WHAT'S NEXT: Training, beginning next month. Many of the pilots could be assigned to different planes than the ones they were flying when they were furloughed.
