Grain mostly higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly higher Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 2.5 cents to $4.6775 a bushel; December corn was up 1.5 cents to 3.63 a bushel; December oats were up .50 cent to 2.2325 a bushel; while November soybeans declined 3 cents to $8.6650 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. October live cattle was off 1.13 cents to $1.4047 a pound; October feeder cattle lost 1.62 cents to $1.9570 a pound; while October lean hogs shed .30 cent to $.6915 a pound.
