Tribe presents giant bear totem with hope for unity, Bears Ears restoration

When Bears Ears National Monument was reduced in 2017, the House of Tears Carvers in the Lummi Nation wanted to extend a gesture of unity to the native tribes in Utah and started carving and painting a bear totem.
