PRICE — Police are asking businesses to be on the lookout after recent reports of counterfeit money in the Price area, just in time for Christmas.
Fake bills — ranging from $1 to $50 — have been reported at several businesses over the past week, Price police said Thursday.
The bills are “easily identifiable” as counterfeits, police said, but can be overlooked by busy or distracted store employees, especially heading into the holiday season.
Anyone with information on the counterfeit money is asked to call the Price City Police Department at 435-636-3190.
