HOOPER, Weber County — One person died Wednesday afternoon in a car crash at 5900 W. 4600 South in Hooper, authorities say.

The crash involved a semitruck pulling a flatbed trailer and a 3/4-ton pickup truck, the driver of which died on the scene, Weber County Sheriff’s Lt. Nealy Adams said in a news release.

The crash was under investigation and no further information, including details of the crash and the identity of the deceased, were released.

The Weber County traffic reconstruction team was called out to help with the traffic accident and to diagram the scene, Adams said.
