STANSBURY PARK — A Lake Point man died after he lost control of the vehicle he was driving near Stansbury Park early Tuesday, officials said.
Michael S. Gollaher, 62, was driving a black GMC Sierra north on state Route 36 near Stansbury Park just after midnight when it drifted off the right shoulder, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
Gollaher overcorrected, causing the vehicle to slide across the northbound lanes. It went over the center concrete barrier, slid northbound in the southbound lanes then rolled multiple times.
Gollaher was ejected and died from his injuries, according to UHP.
