CLEARFIELD — A dump truck rolled over and forced the partial closure of 700 South near 1000 East in Clearfield Monday morning, officials confirmed. The road has since reopened.

Westbound 700 South closed completely about 10 a.m., and one lane of eastbound was also blocked near the intersection, according to Utah Department of Transportation cameras.

Traffic became congested as crews worked to clean the debris, and the crash blocked the way for commuters trying to get to nearby Clearfield High School, KSL Traffic reported.

The road was closed for several hours but reopened later Monday afternoon.

Police dispatch confirmed there were no serious injuries in the crash but did not release further details about the cause of the rollover.
