MIDVALE — A man is dead after a drive-by shooting in the parking lot of a Midvale Maverik.
Just after 9 p.m., police were called to the Maverik at 7720 South and Main Street on the report of shots fired. When they arrived, they found a middle-aged man dead in his car, Unified Police Sgt. Melody Gray said.
As of late Wednesday, police had not yet identified the man who was killed, she said. No one else was in his vehicle at the time.
Several people at the gas station witnessed the shooting, according to Gray.
After the shooting, a black Jeep Wrangler with a lifted hard top drove away from the scene.
