The man accused of killing six people while driving drunk on U.S. 40 on Friday has a history of driving intoxicated and with open containers dating back 20 years, according to court records.

2. Police: Man punched, shoved teen girls dressed as zombies promoting dance production

Park City police say five teen girls dressed as zombies were promoting Odyssey Dance Theatre's annual production of "Thriller" last month by scaring pedestrians on Main Street. But when the girls tried to scare Drew Stephen Hyde, he responded by punching and shoving the girls.

Megan Astle scored on a penalty kick, and Maryn Granger added what proved to be the match-winner in the first half as Corner Canyon held against Murray for the Chargers’ first-ever girls soccer state title, 2-1 in the Class 5A state championship at Rio Tinto Stadium.

4. Lone Peak girls soccer rides defense to first title in program history, 1-0 over Layton in 6A final

Neumarker scored the only goal of the match three minutes before halftime, and goalkeeper Mckayla Wetsel and the defense made it stand up, as Lone Peak won its first state title in program history with a 1-0 win over Layton in the Class 6A state title match Friday at Rio Tinto Stadium.

5. Juniors lead Snow Canyon seniors to long-awaited 4A soccer title, 1-0 over Orem

Heidi Smith scored the only goal of the match in extra time to lead Snow Canyon to its first state championship since 2012 with a 1-0 victory over Orem.
