SALT LAKE CITY — Michael Ramirez, a 28-year-old man, was found dead in a Salt Lake City home Sunday morning in what police are investigating as a homicide.

Police received a 911 call around 9:30 a.m. Sunday for an incident at a home near 1200 West and 900 South in Salt Lake City, and are unsure who made the call, according to Salt Lake City Det. Rich Chipping. Police said an adult male was found dead in the home.

A woman lives in the home along with her adult son, and rents out her basement, according to a neighbor.

Homicide detectives have identified Roberto "Robert" Carlos Munoz, 29 (pictured above), as a suspect in the homicide. Robert was last seen leaving the scene on foot at approximately 9 a.m. Munoz is a Hispanic male, 5 feet 2 inches tall, 150 lbs., and has buzzed black hair. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with black sleeves and blue jeans.

Robert Munoz has been known to carry a handgun and should be considered armed and dangerous.
