Police search for man who robbed Davis County credit union

CLINTON, Davis County — Police are searching for a man who robbed a Mountain America Credit Union Thursday.

The man gave a note demanding money to a teller inside the credit union located at 1727 W. 1800 North, the teller gave him an undisclosed amount of money in envelopes, and the man was seen leaving on foot, according to police.

Officers responded to the robbery at 3:55 p.m. and describe the man as dark- skinned with brown hair and clean shaven. He was last seen wearing glasses, a baseball cap, a long-sleeved dress shirt and light jeans.

Anyone with information should call the Clinton City Police Department at 801-614-0800. Calls after 5 p.m. should be directed to the Davis County Sheriff's Office at 801-451-4151.
