SALT LAKE CITY — One man is allegedly responsible for robberies at four businesses in the Salt Lake Valley in the past two weeks, and police are asking for the public's help to put a stop to his crime spree.

Unified Police released images of the suspect Friday. He's described as a Hispanic man in his mid-50s to 60s. His tactics are the same during every robbery, police said.

"He goes in wearing the same clothing," said Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal.

In each robbery, the man walked into the business, put his hand in his pockets, told employees he had a gun and demanded cash.

His first target was a 7-Eleven store at 5400 S. 3200 West on Oct. 5. Two days later, he hit up a Walgreens at 4700 S. Redwood Road. On Oct. 12 he struck again — this time another Walgreens at 3300 S. Highland Drive. His latest robbery targeted a Conoco at 2200 W. 4700 South on Oct. 15. in broad daylight, police said.

The robberies occurred as early as 2 p.m. to as late as midnight.

"It's very interesting time frames," Hoyal said.

No one has been hurt in any of the robberies, but police are considering the man "armed and dangerous" since he's threatened a gun in each case.

If you see the man, don't approach him — call police instead.
