SUNSET — Ten homes were without power Friday morning after an overnight fire in their neighborhood.

Crews responded to the two-alarm fire around 12:30 a.m. They said when they arrived near 1400 North and 350 West heavy smoke and fire were coming from the house.

Neighbors said they saw the same thing.

"I went outside to see what the matter was. I saw a huge flame coming up over the top of my shed," said neighbor Tim Koster.

One person was inside the home at the time of the fire. They escaped and were treated for minor smoke inhalation.

The Red Cross is helping the displaced resident.

It took crews more than two hours to get the fire under control. Investigators have no idea how the fire started, but said the house is a total loss.
