BOUNTIFUL — Police are looking for four individuals involved in a bank robbery in Woods Cross Friday afternoon.

The robbery took place at a Wells Fargo branch at 2440 U.S. 89 around 1:30 p.m., according to Woods Cross police Cpl. Jason Matthews. Three people entered the bank while the fourth person waited outside in a small, red getaway car.

Woods Cross police said that the robbery was an "aggresive-style robbery" and that one firearm was involved.

"They did brandish the weapon and tell people to get back," Matthews said.

No one was injured during the robbery, and the amount of money stolen has not yet been determined. The bank was closed for the remainder of the day during the investigation.

The investigation is still underway. Police are asking anyone with information to call Bountiful Police at 801-292-4422.

Almost two hours after the Woods Cross robbery, there was another bank robbery attempt about two blocks away in North Salt Lake. Matthews said that the two robberies were not related.

The North Salt Lake robber acted alone and has been arrested.
