PROVO — A 60-year-old woman was in critical condition with a head injury following a traffic accident Wednesday.
Just before 7:30 p.m., a woman attempting to get on I-15 at the University Avenue on-ramp apparently was traveling too fast for conditions, according to the Utah Highway Patrol. The woman lost control of her minivan and it struck a semitrailer.
The woman's name was not immediately released pending notification of family.
