Tom Callan reportingThe controversial skybridge in the City Creek Center plans has cleared a big hurdle.
According to the Deseret Morning News, the Salt Lake City Planning Commission voted late last night to give a favorable recommendation to the proposed design for the City Creek Center's controversial feature.
It took nearly four hours of discussion, public comment and debate before coming to a vote. The commission also voted to allow for the lease of air rights over a portion of Main Street for the skybridge.
