MANILA, Daggett County — Search and rescue crews are looking for a missing fisherman whose boat was found on Flaming Gorge Reservoir.

The Daggett County Sheriff's Office said in a news release that other boaters found a partially submerged boat in the Jug Hollow area around 5:45 p.m. Sunday and alerted authorities.

The owner of the boat was not with the vessel.

The sheriff's office said conditions at the reservoir at the time were very poor, with "high winds and treacherous waters." Searchers don't know if the missing man is in the water or on land.

Searchers believe the man, who is a resident of Wyoming, was alone on the boat.
