WEST VALLEY — A Utah boy suffering from a terminal illness received a thoughtful gift recently.

Brandon Flores-Royo has about two weeks to live, according to his mother. He has a lot of toys at home, she said but his police car is what she is really grateful for.

On Tuesday, officers with the Granite School District Police Department helped grant his lifelong wish: to ride in a police cruiser. Fellow students were on hand to witness the event.
