SALT LAKE CITY— Recording artist Gotye won big at the 2013 Grammys on Sunday.

He took home the Grammy Award for record of the year. It became clear his song, "Somebody that I used to know," was a mega hit when parodies popped up everywhere, the most popular featuring Tim Tebow and Peyton Manning. Another took shots at President Barack Obama through the catchy tune.

Joining the list of Gotye-inspired copycats is Greg Crooks and daughter Shree, who put together their own adorable take on the award-winning song and music video.

Shree is 7 and Greg is 37. Greg says he has been making silly videos for nearly 15 years.

With Shree, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. They both love being creative and making others laugh. Plus, like millions of others, they both really loved that Gotye song, he said.

Greg started acting at a very young age, but he's not pursuing it much these days since being a single father (and having to hold a real job) takes up most of his time, he says.

Shree, however, is currently doing quite well in the world of acting when she isn't making home movies. You might recognize her as the face of the cute little girl in Google tablet commercials. And in the last few weeks, she's acted in spots for Staples and Chevy. She was also featured in the Halloween episode of "The New Normal."
