Segment 1

The old 112th Congress is out and the new 113th Congress is in. But, most of the old issues remain. We asked local politicos to grade Congress and the President for their actions on the fiscal cliff. We are also going to discuss if it's possible for compromise and civility to return to Capitol Hill.

Segment 2

Here is a 2012 statistic that should disturb all of us. 29 Utahns died as a result of -domestic violence last year. We are going to discuss prevention in a moment but first Carole Mikita introduces us to a survivor who is speaking out in hopes her story will help save others.

Segment 3

In the future, we may have another way to cross Utah Lake by boat. Doug Wright offers his opinion on plans to build a bridge to unite the East and West sides of Utah County.
