DENVER — They may have looked like good Samaritans but these guys had bad intentions.

Tracey Valentine came home last week and saw someone burglarized her house.

"The window that's here was pushed completely down," said Valentine.

Inside, lots of footprints and a frightened dog.

Margarita Roman who lives across the street with other neighbors saw two men shoveling snow near Valentine's house.

"I think it's really bad. I think that's the reason the kids came to clean the snow so they can check the house and try to go in," said Roman.

Valentine thinks she scared off the burglars by coming home, before they could clean out her house.
