SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department remind the public of the traffic delays and road closures Saturday, Oct. 13 due to the Utah Marathon.
The race will begin at 6:30 a.m. and the awards ceremony will conclude around 1:00 p.m., but traffic delays will probably continue beyond that time. Motorists should expect periods of time when cars may have to wait as along as 20 minutes or more.
All events will start on 200 East between 400 and 500 South in Salt Lake City. Motorists are asked to use caution and patience while driving through these areas. For information of marathon trail and road closures, see map below.
