Public comment period begins for proposed highway through protected Washington County lands

The Bureau of Land Management and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service have begun accepting public comment about a proposed four-lane highway project that would impact protected public lands in Washington County.

Utah Highway Patrol troopers confiscated 40 pounds of meth and another two pounds of heroin and fentanyl in a traffic stop on I-15 on Friday.
