LITTLEFIELD, Arizona — Authorities in northwest Arizona arrested a Sandy man who they say had nearly $3.7 million worth of meth, cocaine and marijuana on Monday.

Logan Lewis Pederson, 30, was arrested about 3 p.m. Monday after Mohave County (Arizona) Sheriff’s Office deputies encountered him on I-15 about 10 miles north of Littlefield, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.

The deputies pulled Pederson over for a traffic stop, where he appeared "extremely nervous," according to the release. A K9 unit from the St. George Police Department was called to the scene, and alerted deputies there were possibly narcotics in the car, the release states.

Deputies found six one-gallon jugs filled with a substance believed to be methamphetamine, about 66 pounds in total. They also found about 13.2 pounds of a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine, as well as 2.2 pounds of a substance thought to be MDMA, or ecstasy.

Also in the car were about 1,000 packages of THC-infused candy, about 206 pounds total, according to the release.

Investigators estimated the total street value of the drugs found was just under $3.7 million. Pederson was arrested on suspicion of multiple drug offenses, the release said.
