ESCALANTE, Garfield County — Garfield County authorities found a body near Egypt Road in Escalante late Saturday.
The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office announced the discovery in a Facebook post late Saturday night. It said the body was found by Garfield County Search and Rescue and the Rocky Mountain Search and Rescue dog team.
The sheriff’s office said the body is with the county medical examiner “for identification and examination.”
“No other information is available at this time,” the post says.
