Why Utahns should care about North Korean summit

Originally aired: Monday, June 11, 2018

Utah State University students may have prevented a mass shooting by reporting to police when they noticed they're classmate was a little off. "'He wanted them to buy gun parts, and he was willing to pay for them so that he could go undetected, which is very disconcerting as a restricted person himself,' said USU Campus Police Chief Mike Keuhn. Authorities believe O'Connor wanted a "mini uzi." When the students asked him about his intentions, his answers were equally worrisome: "Just simply, 'Oh no, don't worry. I'm not going to shoot you.' And that's very concerning in and of itself," Keuhn said," according to KSL.com The USU students recognized there was an issue, so they reported it to authorities. O'Connor is now behind bars for other charges. If you see something, say something. You could save lives.
