Who knew what when in Porter investigation?

The timeline for Rob Porter's background check has now been contradicted by the FBI. Rob Porter was the White House aide who stepped down after domestic abuse accusations by his first two wives. Despite the FBI's information, the White House is sticking by their original statement. How did we get here? Rob Porter, the former White House staff secretary, resigned after the FBI discovered there were abuse allegations against Porter from during his White House security clearance. The second Trump administration official resigned amid accusations of domestic abuse. David Sorensen, a speechwriter, is resigning after allegations that his ex-wife, Jessica Corbett, accused him of "physical" and "emotional abuse."   President Donald Trump responded to the allegations by Tweeting, "Peoples lives are being shattered and destroyed by a mere allegation. Some are true and some are false. Some are old and some are new. There is no recovery for someone falsely accused - life and career are gone. Is there no such thing any longer as Due Process?" Many of you listening are very frustrated that this very thing is happening to you. Many of you applaud the "innocent until proven guilty" cry. But when it comes to issues of hiring or who we're going to be around who was going to vote for, the standard of innocent until proven guilty isn't a good belief. It's' a legal description--it doesn't' go far enough. Would the president be calling for due process if it were someone who was accused of being affiliated with  ISIS? Absolutely not. Would the president want due process if an illegal immigration was caught doing a crime? No. He already considers that person to be guilty.
