Bye Bye James Comey

Originally aired: Tuesday, May 9, 2017

Drew Steele talks about FBI director James Comey, who was fired today by President Donald Trump. Drew welcomes on the phone former Secret Service Agent, Dan Bongino. Bongino points out that Democrats were clamoring for Comey to be fired. Now he's been fired and Democrats are melting down about that.  New York Democrat Senator Chuck Schumer, said that the U.S. citizens will think it is cover up. Bongino assures listeners that Schumer is not to be taken seriously ("He's a kook and a loon.") Andrew McCabe will now be the acting head of the FBI. There's never a good time to fire James Comey. However, presidents always fire people when they come in with a new administration.  When he defended his release of information concerning the Hillary Clinton investigation he used the word "conceal".  You really shouldn't do that. It makes your position sound like you're keeping things from the public. He was not competent enough to run the FBI.  Drew Steele also welcomes Boyd Matheson, President of the Sutherland Institute on the phone line.  He offers his comments on James Comey's recent sacking. He jokingly suggests a possibility of nominating recent show guest and former Secret Service Agent Dan Bongino as a replacement.
