WALES, United Kingdom — When Chris Price found out he had terminal cancer and just six months to live, he knew exactly what he wanted to do. Price immediately married his longtime girlfriend Ceri, and spent the last six months making memories to last a lifetime.
Ceri's four children, Halle, 9, and triplets Evan, Morgan and Georgia, 6, were the guests of honor at their lavish wedding, BBC.com reported. After the wedding, he whisked her and the children to a magical vacation at Disneyland Paris. It was something they had talked about doing for a long time, but now that Price, 26, had only a short time left, he decided to surprise the kids with a vacation to remember.
"It was as if Chris wanted to spend his last days making me as happy as he could,” Ceri, 29, told Wales Online. "He was so positive he never talked about dying, he just wanted to see me and the children happy in the time he had left."
Price and Ceri had met when they were teenagers and had been dating for almost as long. They moved in together in January 2012, BBC.com wrote.
It was just three months later when Price found out he had esophageal cancer. He had part of his stomach removed and thought he was in the clear, but his scans in April 2013 showed his cancer had spread to his liver and lungs. Doctors told him there was no cure — any treatment he sought would only prolong his life.

After the Disneyland trip, Price surprised Ceri with a trip to New York City. He also lavished her with expensive gifts.
Price had planned to take Ceri to Las Vegas for her birthday, but he lost his battle to cancer before they could go. Ceri said Price died in her arms, surrounded by her kids. His funeral was held at the same church they had been married in just six months previous.
"He loved me and took me on with four children as if they were his own. They loved him so much too,” Ceri said. "I have no regrets — we accepted what was going to happen and we savored every single second we had together.”
