BALTIMORE (AP) — A funeral is planned this week for a Baltimore rapper who was fatally shot as he was driving from a charity basketball game.
Nicole Kirby of the Empowerment Temple said Tuesday that the funeral for 23-year-old Tyriece Travon Watson, also known as Lor Scoota, is set for noon Friday at the northwest Baltimore church. She says the Rev. Jamal Bryant will deliver the eulogy. Kirby says other plans aren't yet settled.
Police said Monday that they have received many tips, but they still haven't identified a suspect in the killing. Watson was shot Saturday night while driving near Morgan State University. A Baltimore City council member said Watson was at a charity basketball game before being shot.
