NEW YORK (AP) — Anthony Doerr's "All the Light We Cannot See" has won the Pulitzer Prize for fiction.

The award, announced Monday, went to Doerr's best-selling World War II novel that tells the parallel stories of a blind French girl and a young German soldier.

Finalists included Richard Ford's "Let Me Be Frank with You," Laila Lalami's "The Moor's Account" and Joyce Carol Oates' "Lovely, Dark, Deep."
