THE COUCH — In the time of COVID-19 quarantine, streaming services have become our best friends. Marriages have stayed together thanks to Netflix, and children have refrained from walking out on the family due to Disney+.

Well, that may not be entirely true. But in-home entertainment is a big deal right now, and NBCUniversal is ready to get in on the streaming party with Peacock. The new service is already available to some Comcast customers and is slated to be available to everyone in July.

The service will have NBC favorites like "The Office,""Parks and Recreation" and "30 Rock," but there is some original content coming as well.

Here's a look at trailers for nine of these original productions, which NBC debuted last week. Click on the title of the show to see the trailer.

'Intelligence'

First up is the comedy "Intelligence" starring "Friends" alum David Schwimmer. Schwimmer plays a national security agent who teams up with a computer analyst to form a new cyber crimes unit in the U.K.

'Angelyne'

This four-part miniseries starring Emmy Rossum tells the story of a mysterious billboard icon who popped up in Los Angeles. The miniseries is based off an investigative article from The Hollywood Reporter.

'Saved By The Bell'

That’s right, Bayside High is back. An updated version of "Saved By The Bell" is headed to the new streaming service, and it stars Mario Lopez as Slater. Now he’s all grown up and works as a gym teacher at Bayside. According to the trailer, he’s mentoring Zack and Kelly’s son while keeping in contact with Jessie.

'Brave New World'

Alden Ehrenreich stars in this new adaptation of Aldous Huxley’s book. Set in a dystopian London, everyone is split up into different classes based on intelligence while living in a drug-induced state.

'A.P. Bio'

The show "A.P. Bio" ran for two seasons on NBC and it is now headed to Peacock for its third season. The show stars Glenn Howerton as a former philosophy professor who has taken a job as a high school A.P. biology teacher.

'The Capture'

This six-part miniseries follows an ex-soldier who is charged with a crime and a detective who unravels a much larger conspiracy. This show is actually a BBC production that aired in September, but it’s now being picked up in the U.S. for the Peacock streaming network.

'Psych 2: Lassie Come Home'

The Psych team is back for another movie. "Psych" ran on the USA Network, an NBCUniversal company, for eight seasons. The show was followed up with a TV movie in 2017, and now we’re getting a sequel. We don’t get a lot from the trailer, but Shawn and Gus are headed back to Santa Barbara to help out Lassiter, who is now the police chief.

'Punky Brewster'

Whether you wanted it or not, "Punky Brewster" is headed back to TV. This time, the precocious troublemaker is all grown up and a mom. Not only does the lovable foster child, played by Soleil Moon Frye, now have kids of her own, but she also managed to marry Freddie Prinze Jr.

'Madagascar: A Little Wild'

The 2005 animated film "Madagascar" was the start of a franchise. The movie has two sequels, a spin off, multiple spin-off TV shows, and is now getting another. This time, the Peacock network is showing us how Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria all grew up in New York City.
