THE RETIREMENT PARTY — I don't know if I'm just lazy or constantly tired, but I can't wait for retirement. Will I be bored? Sure, but I feel like I'm ready to be bored. Wake up, slip on my slacks and button-up shirt that I tuck nice and tight into those pants with a fancy braided belt. I'll then put on my slip-on shoes, make sure what hair I have left is combed and then head outside to do some yard work because that's the proper attire for manual labor for a retired man. Or at least, it is according to what I've seen in my neighborhood.
Maybe I'm not that excited about retirement because I don't like slacks, tucking in my shirt or yard work. However, the bomb-sniffing dog in this video makes retirement look amazing. This pupper had one last bag sniff before he called it a day on his career and when he located the bag he got the surprise of a lifetime. The sky started raining tennis balls. This little fella's brain basically exploded and he didn't know where to start.

"Tennis balls, everywhere. Must catch every one of them!" is what I assume this dog was thinking.
I hope to have a similar experience when I submit my last story before retirement, but instead of tennis balls it's chalupas that start falling from the ceiling and my friends and family can leave me there to eat myself sick and blackout for a week before I come back.
Regardless, it's a time when we could all use a smile and something sweet, and I think this is exactly what the doctor ordered. Enjoy the video and try to look at life like this dog looks at a room full of tennis balls.
