SELFIE-VILLE — We've seen videos before when someone takes a picture every day for a year, or maybe even five years. In fact, I think I remember one where someone took a selfie every day for 10 years, but Noah Kalina just won the game by taking a selfie every day for 20 years.
That's right, this man woke up and snapped a picture of himself every single day for two decades. I don't think I've ever done anything daily in my life for more than a year, except for maybe breathing air. I think I’ve done that every day of my life, so far, that's one pretty good consistent streak I have.
Anyway, Kalina cut together the pics to make an eight-minute video that's pretty incredible. As it starts, it doesn't seem like much. But then this man starts changing before our eyes. It's amazing what 20 years will do.
I think it's worth noting that Kalina has aged pretty well, and his hairstyle has stayed fairly consistent over the years. He also made sure to keep that same face every day. A part of me feels like it was a miserable two decades for Kalina, but I think he just kept the same face for consistency.
I sincerely hope, however, that he's a much happier man than his face would lead you to believe … or maybe taking the same picture everyday for 20 years just takes it out of you.
Regardless, this is a great video that’s fun to watch. Maybe you don't watch the whole thing beginning to end, but jumping around in the timeline is actually pretty cool and worth a look.
Thanks for your patience, your steady nature and creativity, Kalina. It made for a fun and interesting video.
