TURKEY TRAIN — With Thanksgiving just around the corner, many people are getting ready to host a special dinner with loved ones.

But some people couldn’t wait until Thursday to dig into the feast and decided to pull together a Thanksgiving celebration on the subway in New York with strangers, no less.

A group of passengers on the L train in Brooklyn got lucky on Sunday when someone on their train brought a full Thanksgiving meal onto the train, according to ABC News.

While not a lot is known about why these people brought the food, we do know that they weren’t messing around. They had a full table with turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, biscuits and a few other dishes.

The meal was also complete with plastic candles and some fancy-looking cutlery.

The hosts of the pre-turkey-day feast were generous and shared with everyone on the subway.

Honestly, these people did such a great job hosting, anyone planning on hosting a dinner Thursday should take notes.

Pull out some candles and make sure you maintain a great attitude while serving your guests.

This fun act of kindness goes to show you never know what to expect when riding the subway in New York.
