THE FIELD — It can be hard to find a live audience when you’re learning an instrument.

It seems as if even the bugs crawl away and hope for death when some people start honing their musical “talents.”

Most first recitals should probably be played in soundproof rooms to avoid infecting the entire street with permanent tone-deafness.

It’s a gradual process of improvement, and even a decent level of proficiency doesn’t guarantee acknowledgement.

So when one dad’s saxophone songs were greeted with growls and chewed-up reeds from his dog, he wasn’t sure what to do. But when he passed a field of cows during his run, he got the idea for a special performance.

Serenading the cows with sweet melodies is sensational enough, but it’s the cows’ response that seals the deal. They’re quite literally "mooved" by this dad's "moosic."

It’s as if he’s made them collectively fall in love with him to the romantic lilt of “Careless Whisper.” And honestly, who doesn’t get doe-eyed and mushy to that?

But this dad’s not done milking it just yet. Do the cows (and the neighbors) like the bouncy fun of the 1950’s smash hit, "Tequila"?

Yes, they do.

Apparently, this isn’t the first time this musical maestro has graced these bovines with his company. According to his daughter, Erin, cows are her father’s favorite animal and he frequently goes out to talk with them. The music seemed like a natural evolution of their relationship, and the cows "udderly" agree.

Not everyone can become a legendary "moosician" who is able to tame the whole herd, but we can appreciate finding those who enjoy our talents and efforts ... and have a banging taste in tunes.

So if you’re feeling unappreciated, you might just need to find a more unorthodox crowd.
