THE HALL — Soccer fever is sweeping through the world right now with the Women's World Cup in full force. The American women are playing incredibly well, but let's hope they don't have to come across this cat on the pitch during one of their matches.
This feline may look like another kitty who likes to lounge around, sleep, knock things off counters and walk all over you while you're in bed trying to fall asleep, but this little furry friend is much more.
I don't speak the language this cat's owner is speaking, but I did get the gist that the door was the goal and he was trying to get the ball past the cat. What I don't need a translator for, however, is seeing how awesome this cat is. Every kick gets blocked by the feline. Sometimes the little cat even likes to toy with the kicker as it hides around the corner only to block the shot yet again.
I can't quite tell you why, but I feel like I could watch this for hours. Maybe it's the anticipation and disbelief that the cat is able to cover so much ground and jump so high to block the ball. Maybe it's the fact that a small kitty is capable of pulling this off and it's incredibly impressive. Or maybe, just maybe, I just need more things to occupy my time and I'm way too easily entertained. But it's probably not that, it's probably the cool cat thing.
