BABY LAND — It's obviously an exciting time when your baby is just learning how to talk.
As a parent, you might be tempted to pull out your phone and start recording any time your baby seems up for some chatter, in the hopes that you catch the first time they utter "mama" or "dada" on video. While not everyone is lucky enough to capture that special first-word moment for posterity, this family was. Only, their baby's first word was not what you'd expect.
In the video, 3-month-old baby James is hanging out with family while they try to get him to say his first word. "Say mama," they say over and over again, but James seems perfectly content not saying anything at all. Until they ask him to say "taco."

Having two feisty snakes in your roof is not exactly an ideal situation, but at least Max the Snake Catcher is around to help.Baby James waits a few seconds but then repeats the word back to his family. They are thrilled, of course, and it's a really adorable moment.
Though you might want to say little James was just mimicking sounds and that this doesn't really count as his first word, I'd like to believe this was intentional and signaled a lifelong devotion to tacos.
Since the video came out a few years ago, James should be 3 now, which is probably just old enough for his love of the food to really start.
