MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho (AP) — Police in southwestern Idaho say they have arrested a priest for allegedly sexually abusing and exploiting a vulnerable adult.

KBOI-TV (http://bit.ly/2aCYYoy ) reports that 39-year-old Victor F. Jagerstatter was arrested on Friday. The Elmore County Prosecutor's office declined to release any further details about the case because charges have not yet been filed.

Jagerstatter is scheduled to be arraigned in Elmore County court on Monday.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Boise said in a prepared statement that Jagerstatter has been placed on administrative leave and promised to cooperate fully with law enforcement officials.
