THE CLASSROOM — School has never been my strong suit, especially math.

I have a first-grader who brings home homework and I'm usually looking at my wife asking her to help out. OK, that may not be 100 percent true, but I am not good at math.

In fact, I am in my mid-30s and I still use my fingers to add up simple equations. That's what makes this video even more difficult for me.

This is from a few years ago, but considering the video only has 122 thousand views it would appear you probably haven't seen this.

Yesterday's Have You Seen This?

A math teacher decides to have a little competition between him and his students. He asks his students to pick some numbers, multiply them and then add those numbers together. He tells the students they can use calculators and he'll use his head and whoever has the answer first wins. But it wasn't even a competition. The calculator wasn't even close.

I was excited to hear the explanation of how the teacher did it because I wanted some math secrets to help me stop using my fingers. But as the teacher explained it I just got more confused and realized I'm going to be using my fingers to do math for the rest of my days.
